I detect four errors in the transcriptions.  The intestate case is #515.
Date of the sale is 1830.  Two of the purchasers Abner Vose, Israel Hepler
are in actuality Abner Vore and Israel Kepler [Kessler].

In a letter to Donna Sand of Bellingham WA in 1982 from the Moravian
Archives, Winston-Salem NC:  "Margaretha Tesch b 14 Oct 1762 Emmaus PA, 6th

1760.  Two children of record Sarah b 23 Jul 1783, Johannes George b 6 Nov

16 A marriage occurs in Allen County, Indiana on 5 May 1866 between Joseph Fris and Anne Smith. See Index to Marriage Record, 1824 - 1920 inclusive; available in the county clerk's office. Book 6, page 326. This is the correct timeframe, and Allen County was nearby Columbia City--where the Fries lived. With a wife named Ann--there is a distinct possibility these persons are our people. Leo Fries could have been in error to mention Keiner, Missouri.

47 Because Henry and Martha A. were born when Rebecca (mother) was about age 13-15, and there is a considerable spread between the birth year of William/Martha and the rest of the children, it is likely that William had a previous marriage--and the wife died.
===
See Indiana Marriages, 1802-1892.
William L. Essley married Estavilla Custer on 30 August 1838. Delaware County, Indiana Records. LDS Family History Library microfilm #1266792.
--A possibillty that william married Estavilla and she died within the year during childbirth. No evidence other than names and coincidental dates that this is the correct William Essley. William would have been 24 at the time of this marriage.
